Surf Costa da Morte School

In June 2007, Surf Costa da Morte was founded by Rubén Prieto. After completing a degree in Physical Education and after having worked from 2003 as an instructor in surf, windsurf and sailing schools in Galicia and Valencia, made his dream come true by creating a school in Nemiña, the beach where he grew up.

Before that, he had created a personal surf-orientated blog which had more than 200.000 visits from all over the world, a pull he used to name his Project: Surf Costa de Morte. Today, he has extended the school’s services with the purchase of kayaks, organization of different activities (crossings by canoe, diving, yoga, horseback riding, games, leather workshop, photography workshop, hiking and kitesurf) and agreements signed with different local accommodation establishments. The project was renamed Nemiña Life (Nemiña Vida).
