Muxía, a space for creation
A peninsula that feels like an island, a harsh but special climate … the northeast wind. An almost extreme calm. The sea, always the sea.
National and international artists have been coming to live in Muxía in search of these characteristics for many years after an immediate attraction. Some of them have been here for over four decades, like Japanese painter Yoshiro Tachibana, recently deceased; and more recently, Alexandro from Oursense and Detlef Kappeler from Germany – both painters too.
