Parish church of Saint María of Morquintián

Romanesque temple which consists of one single nave and a rectangular apse. On the outside of the main nave, features an interesting collection of corbels, where animal figures as well as people with burlesque attitudes are depicted.

The main entrance consists of a simple door with a diminished arch, supported on two adjoining columns that end in two capitals; higher up, we see a circular window that corresponds to the remains of an old rosette and above the rooftop sits an antefix. The bell tower, also of great architectural interest, is on the north side, attached to the sacristy.
